It will be 50 Years ago this coming fall on October 27, 1973 the St. Mary's College Senior Knights and Junior Squires football teams both celebrated City Championships.
The Knights then proceeded to host the NOSSA Championship against North Bay's West Ferris Trojans. SMC played an outstanding game as they defeated the Trojans to capture the schools first NOSSA championship in its history. What a year it was!
On September 8 & 9, 2023 a 50th Anniversary Reunion will be celebrated to recall the memories of this very successful season. Details are still being finalized but the wheels are in motion to promote the event.
